Description: Gabapentin is a white or off-white crystalline powder with stable chemical properties at room temperature and pressure.
Application:
Gabapentin is a GABA analog used to treat epilepsy and neuralgia. Gabapentin is used for epilepsy patients with localized seizures that cannot be satisfactorily controlled or tolerated by conventional antiepileptic drugs, as well as additional treatment for patients with localized seizures and then generalized epilepsy.
Gabapentin is a new type of anti-epileptic drug. Its pharmacological effects are different from existing anti-epileptic drugs. Gabapentin has shown the effect of preventing epilepsy in various animal models. In addition, it is used in animal models of convulsions, analgesia and amyotrophic lateral sclerosis. It also shows a role in it. Compared with other anticonvulsants, gabapentin has fewer behavioral and cardiovascular side effects.
