Description :
L-Cysteine Monohydrochloride occurs as a white, crystalline powder. It is freely soluble in water and in alcohol. The anhydrous form melts with decomposition at about 175°.
Application:
L-Cysteine Hydrochloride is a conditionally essential amino acid and is the precursor of biologically active molecules such as hydrogen sulfide (H2S), glutathione and taurine. L-Cysteine Hydrochloride can inhibit ghrelin and reduce the appetite of rodents and humans.
L-cysteine hydrochloride can be used as a bread improver, a nutritional supplement, an antioxidant, and a color protectant. It has detoxification effect on acrylonitrile and aromatic poisoning, has the effect of preventing radiation damage, and has the effect of treating bronchitis and phlegm.
