Description :

White or yellowish crystal or powder. Melting point 176 ℃. It is almost insoluble in water. It is soluble in hot ethanol, insoluble in ether, and easily soluble in dilute acid or alkali solutions. It is odorless, slightly bitter in taste, and becomes darker when exposed to light.

Application:

It is used to prevent and control the infection of Staphylococcus and soluble Streptococcus. It can inhibit hemolytic streptococcus and pleurisy coccus. It is mainly used to treat avian cholera, avian typhoid fever, chicken coccidiosis, etc.
